Figure eight cars at Salem Speedway? The same track that has seen the likes of Foyt, Andretti, Jones, Allison, Katona, Parsons? ARE YOU KIDDING?
It's not a joke, and it was pretty dang cool. The new 1/4 mile track with the x in the middle lived up to expectations, and the International Outlaw Figure 8 Series came to town and introduced the hallowed grounds of Salem Speedway to a new game.
The FWD and Pure Stocks graced the 1/4 mile asphalt with feature events, with Dave and Deb's Winner's Circle Street Stocks and the Lucas Oil Super Stocks taking to the high banks.
