There are racers, then there are racers. The Basham crew are racers.

You can go watch the race cars and really get caught up in the flash and the speed. It gives me a rush to see all the prerace, the start, the pits, the competition, the finish. But what makes the whole show worth it, is knowing what it takes to get to the track. I couldn't give a care less for the driver who shows up to race then goes home, leaving his owner and crew to make it to the next show. The guys and teams that impress me, give 100 percent if they are behind the wheel, changing tires or packing bearings back at the shop. Often times its all the same guy.

My hat is off to the folks at Darrell Basham Racing, and I'm proud to throw my support their way.
